How do I personally show off my cards? I use twine and clothes pins to clip them on (thank you Ashlee for this idea), but the ones that I always keep are the ones that show the family at its truest (is that a word?)
To begin, here is what NOT to do...
Oh no. the classic "Olin Mills" or "Sears" or "Wal-mart" photo. Come on you and your family deserve to be represented better than this!
Oh goodness. No. No. No. The cat in the hat, a maybe... wait, what the heck am I talking about. This is just wrong.
Wow. That's all I have to say.
Even "famous people" (and I use that term loosely) make the wrong choices when it comes to the family photo.
So why don't you make the right choice...
show everyone how much your kids (and of course you and your hubby) really do love each other
show them your love for one another is even stronger than ever
show them that even with a newborn, you still are madly and deeply in love with all of it
show them what's coming soon in 2012
or what's already arrived in 2011
just show off your kids... that will be enough to make everyone say "ahhhh"
or if you don't have kids, show them off with your furry children
show them how excited you are for 2012 (congrats to J and R on their engagement)
or just show them how beautiful, wonderful, and fulfilled your life is....
It's more than a Christmas card, it's you.
