Tiny Bubbles...

...or as Miss Sunny D would say "bah- bowl"...
Oh does she have a blast with these bubbles.
Ask me how stoked I am to clean it up after she's done.
Did you ask me? (how stoked I was to clean it up....)

For that smile and that laugh and that happiness...

it's worth every paper towel,
every slippery slip and spill,
every wet carpet (and stain)...
Sunday, you will always be my tiny bubble (of pure joy).

Lisa

My friend and fellow photographer, Lisa, asked me to model for her so she could practice head shots...
(check out her website Lisa Poff Photography)

little did she know that Chris Nelson stands behind the camera, and rarely ever in front of it.

If I were as beautiful as she, I would consider it....
but the honest truth is
I'm just too critical of what I look like in pictures.

I always look goofy and uncomfortable,
mainly because I am both those things when I have my picture taken.

So...
as Lisa took some pictures of my dear friend Jennell...(my replacement)
I took the opportunity to take some of her.

Lisa, you are really truly a beautiful person.

Thank you for always being my model (even though I won't for you), my photography companion, a fellow firefighter wife and mom, friend, and overall great person.

Enjoy.
Oh and can you believe there are two of these gorgeous women that walk this world?
Yes, she's a twin.

Ramsey Sneak Peek

There is something about little girls
that just
MELT. MY. HEART.
Girlie glittery shoes
and small delicate hands,
that one day will be
stilettos and french manicures.
Early on they learn
how to strike a pose
and how to be bashful and giggle with their cute little hair bows.
(we call this flirting later in life)
 With this smile...
Emily and Jeremy...
you are in trouble. ;)
But my favorite thing about girls is...
they just want to have fun.
(so cheesy, I know)
Thank you E and J for introducing me
to your sweet baby girl.
 She is a doll.
I hope I have the honor to meet your next one.
(They will welcome baby Sydney in December)
And of course, it was a pleasure to have met and worked with you.
And to you Ms. Eli,
Just like I tell my little girl,
Fly high, soar to be your greatest... and remember... anything is achievable.

Two brothers.
Two personalities.
Too cute.
Too fun.
Enjoy!

Lazy Days

 Hope your weekend is as
 lazy as
Linus.

Happy Friday! Hope you have a wonderful (un)Labor Day weekend.

XOXO Chris.
