Finn's new hat

I love my Finn for so many many reasons, but one of them is because he (usually) is so cooperative with me. The poor little man gets dragged around town testing out locations, props, lighting.... One day he will cherish these photos as I do everyday. Thank you sweet baby boy.

Happy first birthday Sunday

What else is there to say? Happy 1st birthday to my sweet baby.... correction toddler girl. What a wonderful year it has been. I love you more than anything.

Opal's Baby Shower

What a delight it was to spend the afternoon with Opal and all her family and friends. The party was perfect- good food, good company and just good spirit. Avon- you did a wonderful job celebrating this wonderful blessing that is about to enter the world. Kudos to you for raising such a stellar woman and I have no doubt, Opal, that you will be just as awesome of a mom to your own baby girl. God Bless.

Sunday plays at Finn's preschool

Now that she is walking, she is having a blast exploring all sorts of things. Today I took her into Finn's preschool. She had a great time especially in this one house. Peeking her head through and popping up to say hello.

Stock Sneak Peek

These are the Stocks- Ashlee, Jeff, Fisher and Fletcher. They started out as our neighbors, but soon became our friends. We were fortunate enough to have met them, they are some of the coolest people on the block. Today I shot out in a private residence in Rancho Santa Fe, and for a short hour I got to see what it would be like if I won the lotto. When Wes and I came home, we were depressed entering our 1500 sq ft house, but then i realized that a home is wherever the family is. We are just as rich in love and happiness as these millionaires are in money. Thank you so much Stock family for letting me come and capture the beautiful spirit of your family of four. There are many more images to come. Till then see you around the hood!

Toljabee

Sunday's first birthday party was today, even though her real birthday isnt't till the 19th. In the Korean tradition, on the first birthday the child is presented with a table full of goods- and each represents a future. The thread- long life, the rice- wealth, the book- knowledge, the scissors- being good with their hands, the knife- a good cook, and the raisins- lots of descendants. It took Sunday a while to choose something unlike her brother who immediately chose the spool of thread, but after a few tries, she also picks the spool of thread. Looks like my children will be living long lives. I hope they are filled with life, laughter, and lots of and lots of love.

Gigi

I can't handle how adorable this little girl is. Her sister is just as cute, and I'd love to post a picture of her too, but for some reason this picture just makes me think.... future model. Matt, you've got some trouble in your near future, especially since I have a son around the same age. ha! Kidding. Thanks for letting me capture the true spirit of your family. It was honestly one of the easiest and most fun shoots.
