Isaura, Alex and my new favorite shooting spot

Meet Isaura- one of my closest friends, college roomie....  heck dorm hall mate, one of my bridesmaids, Vegas travel/party mate, and just a down to earth, can be feisty at times, knows what she wants, and a kind woman. She's marrying this guy, Alex. Sweet, cute, and pretty funny if you ask me. I don't know him too well, but I hope and know I will get too as we become a part of each others lives.

Now, meet my new favorite location. I'm not going to disclose where this is, because if I did that, then I'd be giving away my secret spot.  I am always looking for cool locations that will make my work different. I test shoot places out ALL the time to those willing participants, but this, this location, is PERFECT. Lighting, color, just everything about it. I hope to shoot here soon again, perhaps a family. I have some ideas....

He seriously should model

Or am I just saying that because I'm his mom? I think it's a little of both, but can't you see this picture in a catalogue? Me thinks so. I also think because I am constantly taking pictures of him, he's especially good with the camera. I may use this location again, great lighting.

New location

I think I may have found a great new location, great lighting, cool colors, so now all I need is someone who is willing to shoot there. My poor Sunday crawling on the asphalt, scrapped her little palms. The things my kids are forced to do to get some good photos. One day they'll thank me.

Blahhhhh.

This face Sunday is making has been how I have been feeling lately. Wes has been working a ton of overtime so that means I've been home with the kids a lot more. Don't get me wrong, I love being with my children, but sometimes I'd just like a moment to myself. I feel over worked and sometimes overwhelmed. In my days there is never a moment to myself. Ever. Even when I take a shower, Sunday has to crawl and stand there holding on to the edge of the tub, watching and whining that I'm not holding her. And, as I'm on this complaint wagon, they are on completely different napping schedules. Sunday sleeps, she eats, we have 30 minutes, Finn naps, Finn wakes, Sunday naps. 11-4 is pretty much house bound. That being said, I am grateful I am the one experiencing it. I guess it's just a part/phase of my life.

Just like dad

I love these goggles he wears when he uses his pretend blower. Wes blows about 3 times a day, claims it helps keep our floor clean (I don't know about that because I'm mopping pretty much everyday because it is dirty) but I thought I'd show you how cute he looks in these things. He's becoming a mini Wes. Love it.

Sunday cries

My girl Sunday, I love her so much, even when she does cry her head off when we....
1. change her
2. take away her food

I never had a baby that was so willing to eat, so I enjoy the fact that she will eat anything other than peas and corn. Finn was never an eater and still is not, so I think I will enjoy letting her just eat what ever and when ever. This picture I took of her when I took away her cheerios to get a picture of her. Look how pissed she looks. Lovely Sunday, lovely.

Oops forgot about them...

Oh my gosh! Totally forgot to introduce you to my other babies: Linus and Lola. For those of you who know the Nelson family, you need not an introduction to these rambunctious boston terrorists. Terrorist they are. Linus, oh goodness, Linus. Mostly retarded (I'm not kidding you), but all heart. Has died... humm what's the count now? I think 4 times? He was and always will be my first baby, loyal as heck, fun, loving and crooked, again literally. He gets really dizzy sometimes and then he'll walk crooked and this has caused him to drown several times. That's another story to be told at a different time. And my Lola girl. She is the perfect little dog except when she brings home her hunt- dead rabbits, lizards and birds all found on our door step as if she were bring them home for us. She's a feisty little one and is so manipulative and mean to Linus but I love her anyways, how could you not with those ears?

My new blog

Ok, I'm now going to be a "blogger" gosh I hate that word.... BLOG. eww. Anyhow, one way I heard how to expand business is to blog, so i thought I would give it a go. So here is my first blog and I thought I would start it off with the most important people in my life... my family. Meet my husband Wes, firefighter, avid surfer, mountain bike enthusiast, incredible dad and amazing husband, my son Finneus, 2 almost 3, sensitive, kind hearted, fun loving, and a dinosaur and monster truck fanatic. And lastly my sweet Sunday, temperamental, spastic, curious, spunky, eating enthusiast, but has the heart of gold. I guess I have to say these things because they are my family, but I think people would agree with me once you've met them. I hope you enjoy following along with my life's journey. It at times can be fun and exciting, and sometimes boring and sad, but it is always full of warmth and love.
