Finn has started to show a new interest in gardening since he saw the firefighter's garden at the station. He enjoyed harvesting the tomatoes, and I enjoyed eating them so fresh in my salad.
We decided to make our own garden of bell peppers
and tomatoes
from seeds
and an already grown tomato plant.
He loved helping...patting the soil down
using the hoe to churn up the soil
and his rake to smooth it all out once the seeds were in.. and guess what?
...even Sunday helped. Not around your neck Sunday! It's for the tomato plant!
We will grow these plants the best we can, and hopefully soon we will be able to eat from our very own garden.
